Construction fleet of crew-cab dropside, panel van and pick-up on a building site
Construction sector

Vehicles built for the work site.

From secure vans and 4x4 pick-ups to dropsides, tippers and mobile workshops, Automotivate supplies construction fleets ready for people, equipment and demanding project environments.

Ready for the depot, the project and the changing demands of site work.

Construction vehicles must move people, materials and specialist equipment while remaining secure, dependable and correctly loaded. We connect the vehicle, conversion and funding decisions around one operational brief, helping reduce compromises before the order is placed.

A working fleet for every construction role.

Source a single replacement or build a repeatable vehicle standard for sites, projects, branches and regional teams.

01

Panel & crew vans

Secure transport for people, tools and materials, with payload, seating, storage and site access specified around the role.

02

Dropsides & tippers

Practical chassis-cab bodies for loose materials, equipment and repeated loading, available with single or crew cabs.

03

Pick-ups & 4x4s

Versatile vehicles for supervisors, towing and difficult access across construction sites and infrastructure projects.

04

Mobile workshops

Racking, workbenches, power, lighting and secure parts storage for maintenance and engineering teams in the field.

05

Plant & equipment transport

Beavertail, low-loader and towing solutions matched to the machinery, payload and operating requirement.

06

Welfare & support vehicles

Crew welfare, mess, drying, first-aid and project-support configurations for remote or changing work sites.

Specify the finished working vehicle before choosing the base model.

Body, equipment, people and carried materials all affect payload and usability. Our team coordinates the complete specification so access, storage, security, towing and weight are considered together.

  • Dropside, tipper and crew-cab bodies
  • Racking, lockers, tool vaults and secure partitions
  • Roof systems, pipe carriers and load restraint
  • Beavertails, ramps, winches and tow bars
  • Work lighting, beacons, cameras and reversing aids
  • Telematics, tracking and additional security
Build your specification
Construction vehicles specified around tools, crew and site work

Built around the work your teams perform.

Final specifications should reflect intended loads, site conditions, completed vehicle weights and the operator’s safety procedures.

  • Racking and lockable storage
  • Roof and pipe-carrying systems
  • Bulkhead and load restraint
  • Tracking and added security
02

Dropside or tipper

One brief. Four coordinated stages.

  1. 01Operational brief

Define crew, tools, materials, payload, towing, access and site conditions.

  2. 02Vehicle & body

Compare suitable platforms, completed weights and converter solutions.

  3. 03Fund & build

Agree the commercial route, approve the specification and coordinate production.

  4. 04Check & deliver

Review the completed vehicle and arrange delivery to the depot or project.

Construction fleet vehicles, explained.

01Can Automotivate supply the base vehicle and body conversion?+

Yes. We can source the base vehicle and coordinate the bodybuilder, equipment, funding and delivery as one project.

02How do you assess payload for a construction vehicle?+

We consider the completed body or conversion, driver, crew, fuel, tools, equipment and expected materials. Final loading and legal operating responsibility remain with the operator.

03Can you include added security for tools?+

Yes. Options can include reinforced locks, internal cages, partitions, lockable storage, alarms, immobilisation and tracking, depending on the vehicle and risk profile.

04Can towing equipment be specified?+

We can coordinate tow bars, electrics, cameras and related equipment. The vehicle, trailer, load, driver entitlement and operating conditions must all be checked for suitability.

05Can you support a larger project or fleet roll-out?+

Yes. We can help standardise specifications, coordinate supply and conversion slots, arrange phased delivery and support replacement planning.
